EC Teacher Company: Amergis Staffing Location: Elizabethtown, NC Pay: $30/hour School Year: 2024-2025 Job Description: Amergis Staffing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Exceptional Children (EC) Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is based in a vibrant school in Elizabethtown, NC, catering to a diverse population of K-8 students. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects to students with mild to moderate disabilities. Collaborate with other educators, school staff, and parents to support student learning and development. Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining detailed records. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth. Utilize various teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of students with different learning abilities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field. A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience. EC teaching experience is preferred. Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by students with special needs.
