Responsibilities:
We are hiring for a number of different positions at Cherry Point. Depending on your level and qualifications your responsibilities may include
- Providing general maintenance and rehabilitation of the property
- Removing carpet, floor tile, sheet vinyl, ceramic floor tile and plywood
- Transporting equipment, furnishings and appliances to job sites.
- Loading and unloading trucks and other conveyances; moving supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrows or hand trucks
- Performing on-call urgent or emergency repairs
- Operating power blowers or using brooms to clean roof tops, sidewalks and driveways of leaves and debris
- Ensuring work-site clean-up
- Participating in and/or quality assuring vendor or subcontractor work from time to time
- Completing all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- Proficient at two maintenance trades (including HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring, roofing, or appliances)
- Must possess a current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the -
- Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Flooring experience and/or carpeting experience
- EPA card
- HVAC certification
