Qualifications:
Industrial equipment: 4 years - (Required)
Industrial maintenance 2 years - (Required)
US work authorization - (Required)
High school or equivalent - (Preferred)
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate renewable gas compression and decompression plants and associated systems, rotating equipment, gas monitoring and metering, compressors, gas delivery systems, and compression into interstate pipelines
Troubleshoot failures and malfunctions to determine the root cause and maintain, operate, repair, and replace equipment as necessary
Perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks and reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment including compressors and pumps
Serve as lead point-of-contact on site and assist with overseeing operations, maintenance, and overall activities associated with the facility
Record and analyze statistical data concerning plant operations ensuring that the plant is running as specified
Maintain, modify, and repair instrumentation and control equipment including recorders, flowmeters, and other quality monitoring equipment
Collect samples for testing and reporting
Maintain a clean and presentable plant environment
Assist with implementing techniques and methods of process control that will increase plant and operational efficiencies
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting detailing operational trends, along with availability and production
Other duties and project work as assigned
Skills & Requirements:
Strong commitment to safety
Ability to understand procedures and instructions. Knowledge of wastewater operations a plus.
Process plant and handling of industrial gas experience preferred
Maintenance experience with plant instrumentation, analyzers, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and mechanical screws
Basic knowledge of PLC systems
Must be able to gather pertinent information and be able to communicate this information professionally and accurately
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to assess problems and situations, recommend a path forward and evaluate alternatives to resolve the problem
Able to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High degree of self-motivation
Valid Driver’s License

Stair and ladder climbing
Lifting up to 50 lbs
Personal Protective Equipment (hard hats, safety glasses, air masks, hearing protection) is required
Working with hazardous materials
Schedule:
The Field Services Technician will normally operate and monitor a facilities in Kinston, NC and Lewiston, NC.
The Field Services Technician will periodically monitor multiple sites and travel to other sites as needed.
8 hour shift Monday to Friday
90% Kinston and Lewiston, NC facilities
10% Remote work
10% Travel to other facilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
