Maintenance Technician / Make Ready Technician

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections of the apartment complex to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.

Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairing plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and fixtures.

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to extend their lifespan.

Respond to maintenance requests from residents and property management in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.

Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new residents, including trash outs, drywall repairs, painting and cleaning.

Participate in on-call emergency maintenance issues outside of regular working hours.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.

Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques.

Competency in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, carpentry, and appliance repair.

Ability to use various tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.

Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in maintenance work.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification is a plus.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
