HireNetworks is working with a local RTP, NC client in their search for an experienced Full-Stack MERN Engineer. If selected, you will join a high-performing, AWS-based, agile SaaS web application team that builds web and mobile applications for the commercial service space.

An ideal candidate is a full stack JavaScript developer who wants to build web applications that can scale to match 50%+/year growth. If you love frontend JS frameworks with REST API backends, and you think Lambda and Kubernetes-backed microservices are neat , you may be a great fit for this opportunity. You also like to ship code frequently and you feel unhappy if you haven't written any unit tests lately. Finally, you thrive in being involved in all aspects of delivering software: designing, developing, deploying and managing deploy process and pipeline, monitoring and improving the applications.

This is a direct hire opportunity with the opportunity to work remotely. The salary range for this position ranges between 1 0 0-140k per year depending on experience . This opportunity comes with a competitive salary and amazing benefit package. You can work remotely or a hybrid role splitting your time in the office. There is no sponsorship or C2C arrangements available for this position.

Responsibilities

Architecture and development of web applications
Working from mockups to produce fully developed features
Performance tuning, debugging, and integrating with existing features
Collaborating with our client's customer success team to make end users happy

Requirements

(3+ years) Significant experience with JavaScript on both frontend (React) and backend (Node.js)
(3+ years) Experience with distributed systems (Docker, Kubernetes)
(3+ years) Significant experience with RDBMS, with PostgreSQL experience in AWS strongly preferred
(3+ years) Experience with all the trappings of a modern software team: git, CI/CD, Agile, etc
(2+ years) Experience delivering products on AWS, particularly EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway
Experience with DynamoDB or similar NoSQL datastores preferred
Experience with Go preferred
