  • Job Title: Java API Developer
  • Location: Durham, NC/Westlake, TX/Merrimack, NH
  • Type: Contract (12+ months)
  • Rate: Upto $60hr W2
  • Interview Process: One and done Note: The role is onsite/hybrid/remote with 1 week onsite per month.
Job Description: We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to develop enterprise-wide customer data capture capabilities. The ideal candidate will use a combination of back-end technologies (REST APIs and Databases) and front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) to build micro front ends that help customers update their personal information while on websites and mobile apps. The position is critical to delivering Fidelity's promise of crafting the best customer experiences in financial services. Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop HTTP-based APIs, microservices, networking, and how the internet works
  • Develop REST APIs from scratch and update them
  • Strong hands-on experience with Rest API development (Java / Spring boot preferred)
  • Hands-on skills with database technologies (such as Oracle, Dynamo, etc.)
  • Knowledge of front-end solutions using JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools
  • Git skills and understanding of respective branching strategies
  • Desire to learn how to use marketing technology tools (such as Adobe Target, Ensighten, SDL Tridion, Adobe AEM, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of A/B/N testing techniques, Design of Experiments, Measurement and Recommendations
  • Participating in problem-solving, troubleshooting, performance tuning, production support, and maintenance of existing applications
  • Dedication to high quality, balanced with rapid pace of delivery delivering technology changes to end-users every two weeks, and as frequent as daily
  • Ability to work optimally in global teams distributed across geographic locations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a technology-related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
  • At least 6 years of validated experience with the requirements below
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Rest API development (Java / Spring boot preferred)
  • Knowledge of front-end solutions using JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools
  • Git skills and understanding of respective branching strategies
  • Basic understanding of A/B/N testing techniques, Design of Experiments, Measurement, and Recommendations
  • Ability to work optimally in global teams distributed across geographic locations
