Laboratory Assistant

A Laboratory Assistant role in Durham, NC is now available through Adecco Medical and Science. In this role, you function as a team member and support molecular analysis delivery efforts defined by supervisor or manager . Contribute to implementation of fit-for-purpose molecular analysis, and effectively evaluate, implement, and drive results. The pay rate for this position is $25.00/hr. Please note that this a minimum 6-month temp/contract position starting in early July 2024. Shift: Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.Responsibilities :Communicate progress and results with function teams and projects in a timely fashionFollow instructions and pre-established SOPs to perform the functions of the jobPlan and execute molecular analysis experiments, including DNA, RNA or protein extraction and QC, PCR analysis, ELISA analysis, preparation for Sanger sequencing or NGS, and other lab work related to team deliveryRecord observations and analysis details and report resultsPerform tasks and deliver results within timelines and with good qualityDemonstrate attention to detail and strong trouble-shooting skills to daily workEfficiently and accurately process, summarize, interpret and report analysis dataMaintain clear and accurate experimental records with outstanding attention to detailsPerform all activities in accordance with company's Health, Safety, and Environmental PolicyFollow quality management system instructions according to company policyQualifications:BS Degree in Molecular Biology, Plant Science, or related field.Minimum of 1-2 years' laboratory experience.Pay Details: $25.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
