Piper Companies is currently seeking a Java Fullstack Developer for a 100% remote contract-to-hire opportunity based out of Durham, NC! As a Java Fullstack Developer, you will be using your in-depth knowledge of web application development to communicate with clients at the EPA!
Responsibilities of the Java Fullstack Developer include: • Communicating with customers to design, plan, and develop large scale projects from the ground up. • Building front-ends using Vue, React, and any other frameworks or templates. • Building back-ends using Java that may be utilized as an Application Programming Interface (API). • Creating documentation for bug fixes and projects from the client. • Working in an agile/scrum environment which include standups, 2-week springs, and JIRA boards. Qualifications for the Java Fullstack Developer include: • Back-End Experience: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Hibernate, and Struts. • Front-End Experience: React, Angular, jQuery, and CSS. • Database Experience: Oracle and Postgres. • Operating System (OS) Experience: Windows 10 and Linux (RHEL).
