The Office provides data, information, tools, and resources to the University community to support management planning and decision-making.Primary Purpose of PositionProvides professional planning, coordination, and development in support of school/college-level accreditation goals and objectives. Continually monitors progress toward defined objectives by collecting and analyzing data and communicating with faculty, staff, and other constituents. Interfaces with technical personnel, academic administrators, external accrediting bodies, and other partners to ensure accurate compilation, retention, and submission of data.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of assessment methodologies, practices, and principles.Knowledge of program or professional accreditation requirements and practicesSkill in organizing resources and establishing prioritiesStrong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groupsAbility to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusionsStrong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse communityKnowledge of continuous quality improvement management principles and practicesAdvanced research, analytical, critical thinking, and report writing skillsAbility to synthesize and analyze quantitative and qualitative data and prepare and present reports effectivelyDatabase management skillsProject management skillsMinimum Education/ExperienceMasters degree in public policy, economics, business, education, sociology, data science or statistics required, doctoral degree in related fieldsFive years’ experience supporting at least one professional or program-level accreditation process, or three years’ experience managing at least one professional or program-level accreditation process in a higher education setting, including using an electronic assessment management system, such as TaskstreamThree years’ experience in research design, data collection and retrieval, statistical analysis and reporting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required, preferred in a higher education setting.Licenses or Certification required by Statute or RegulationNoneEqual Opportunity EmployerNorth Carolina Central University is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
