Job Overview The Branch Operations Trainer will serve Arc3 Gases branch operations by providing and coordinating operational training focused primarily on the 27 branches throughout the states of VA & MD. The primary focus of this position is to teach, mentor, and train on operational improvements by effectively providing technical expertise, training, support, and service to Arc3's branch personnel. This position will require frequent travel to branches and other locations across the Arc3 Gases footprint to attend meetings, assist other trainers, and receive ongoing training themselves. The applicant should be willing to spend multiple weeks in a single branch to see operational improvements to completion. This role aims to drive operational consistency and standardization across all of Arc3’s branches. Responsibilities and Duties

Use the Branch Operations Guide to provide in-person and virtual training to all newly hired branch employees.

Present the Branch Operations Guide during new employee orientation.

Use the Branch Operations Guide to help train employees transitioning to new operational roles.

Assist in the implementation of standardized processes and procedures of all branch operations.

Continuously demonstrate Arc3 Gases' core values as outlined in the Branch Operations Manual.

Serve as the subject matter expert for branch and store operations, including all roles Store Manager, Inside Sales, and Route Sales Representative.

Provide technical expertise on Arc3 Gases’ internal systems, such as TIMS and handheld devices.

Provide constructive coaching throughout training to enhance branch employees' technical and professional skills and teach/coach Arc3's best practices.

Communicate regularly with management and staff to coordinate and administer branch training.

Establish strong working relationships with branch personnel and leadership.

Follow up with the Branch Operations Manager on operational training needs.

Update the Branch Operations Guide, training materials, and instructional manuals as directed by the Branch Operations Manager.

Support the Branch Operations Manager with special projects as business needs change.

Coordinate and administer ongoing employee training in branch operations.

Emphasize safety as a core behavior and foster an interdependent safety culture throughout all training activities.

Proactively identify ways to optimize branch operations and provide feedback to leadership on best practices and improvement suggestions.

Always maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Knowledge, Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Welding or Technical Education is preferred.

Experience performing instructor-led training both in person and virtually is required.

Exceptional communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Must have the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Strong welding product knowledge and self-management skills to deliver superior customer service.

Ability to assess the performance of self, employees, and company to make improvements as needed.

Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience presenting policies or procedures in a professional setting is preferred.

Experience in one or more of our stores in the position of Branch manager, Store Manager, Inside Sales, or Outside Sales is preferred.

Experience with TIMS software or similar ERP systems related to asset management and business intelligence is required.

Experience using handheld delivery devices is preferred.

Working Conditions

Must be able to travel for more than 50% of the job.

Will ride along with commercial drivers on routes to provide training.

Must possess and maintain a clean driving record to drive a company vehicle for business travel.

Remote position requiring a home office and reporting to a corporate office.

Branch environments may include loud noises, industrial equipment, and hazardous materials.

Prolonged periods of sitting or standing, driving throughout the states of Virginia and Maryland, as well as using electronic devices.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday.
