Description:Industrial Controls Engineer is responsible for design, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and development of industrial controls equipment in the manufacturing facility, using knowledge of engineering and programming as well as sophisticated instruments and computers.
Analyze production processes, design, and implement improvements including PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo, and robotics programming as well as hydraulics and pneumatics controls.
Lead design, build and integration of automation solutions including in-house build and on-site installs, from start to finish, maintaining that quality and safety standards are upheld.
Take responsibility for successful startup of automation projects ensuring projects are completed accurately, on-time while maintaining accurate records and files.
Recommend improved materials or machinery, demonstrating how changes will lower costs or increase production.
Troubleshoot electrical control panels and associated electromechanical equipment and sensors
Skills:Allen-bradley, Plc programming, Autocad, Controls engineering, Allen bradley plc, Hmi, Siemens plcAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a related field.
Technical proficiency in software applications, Allen Bradley control software platforms. Ability to use Siemens TIA Portal is a plus.
Working knowledge of AC and DC systems.
Ability to draw control and power schematics using AutoCAD.
