This state-of-the-art facility will focus on producing injectable medications, device assembly, and packaging operations. The Concord facility will feature advanced robotic technologies, integrated OT and IT systems, and sophisticated data analysis platforms to enhance safety, productivity, and quality control.As an Automation Engineer - Systems Administrator, you will be instrumental in the implementation and management of cutting-edge IT/OT systems. This position is dedicated to ensuring the integrity and availability of crucial systems, thereby facilitating comprehensive manufacturing and data integration at the Concord Site. Join us for this exceptional opportunity to contribute to the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing.Key Objectives/Deliverables:

Partner with Corporate Automation, Automation Integrators, and Global Facilities Delivery to design, install and qualify the site Platform and Data related systems and related technologies, Lilly’s OT/IT integration layer, and end-point cyber security solutions

System Administration ownership and management of these platforms during the delivery phase and post-delivery including user access controls, automated alarm management, data management, and system maintenance, including process improvements and system/server life cycle management

Oversee system security, data integrity, and quality compliance

Develop site procedures that will govern Platform and related data systems

Lead the management and growth of the platforms and data related systems as new process systems are added to the facility, partnering with manufacturing process teams and other site groups.

Support of 24/7 manufacturing process teams and other site groups in the interaction with Platform and Data related systems and related technologies, Lilly’s OT/IT integration layer, and end-point cyber security solutions

Partner with Corporate Automation, Information Technology, and Information Security for global initiatives (including advanced data programs and cyber security) and life cycle management

Perform audits and periodic assessments of the systems to ensure compliance with Global Quality and Engineering Standards

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related science/technical field

2+ years experience in automation platform system administration.

Experience in Automation, Process Control, or Platform System Administration

Additional Skills/Preferences

5+ years experience in automation or process control

Core knowledge related to ISE S95 and S88 principles and IT/Automation integration.

Communicate effectively with internal customers, business partners, and leadership including written and visual presentations.

Enthusiasm for changes, team spirit and flexibility

Experience in Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View SE HMI Platforms or related technology.

Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC’s and other related automation technologies.

Experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP industry.

Experience working with validated systems.

Experience in managing IT/OT platforms.

Experience in Microsoft operating systems, virtual environments, and networking.

Experience in databases and visualization.

Experience in OSI/PI Data Historians

This position will be based out of our Concord site (North Carolina)

Schedule - 8 hour days - Monday through Friday, overtime and some weekend/holiday may be required for project and operational support.

The anticipated wage for this position is$64,500 - $167,200Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
