Strategic Planner Subject Matter Expert

This position is contingent on contract award.International SOS is looking for an individual who is an experienced Strategic Planner to formulate, analyze, and implement long-term strategies that align with national defense objectives and enhance operational effectiveness. This position involves conducting comprehensive assessments of geopolitical environments, resource allocations, and military capabilities to inform decision-making and ensure readiness for future missions. The Strategic Planner collaborates with various stakeholders to develop actionable plans that support the military’s strategic goals and enhance overall mission success. Key ResponsibilitiesResearches, gathers, and analyzes information to recommend updates to existing policies and procedures.  Offers solutions to improve strategic and operational planning.  Prepares reports on strategy ideas and presents research finding to senior management.  Aligns processes, resources planning and department goals with overall strategy and provides support an insight into significant organizational changes. This list is non-exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above.
