Physician Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)

This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below:International SOS is looking for an individual who is experienced as a Board-Certified Ear, Nose and Throat( ENT) Physician to provide a comprehensive clinical Otolaryngology service including full range of ENT surgical procedures.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive clinical Otolaryngology services including the full range of ENT Surgical procedures: Typical surgical procedures include, but are not limited to:ThyroidectomyParotidectomySinus SurgeryHead/Neck cancer removalPan endoscopyIntraoperative Follow-up: Physician shall be present in the operating suit for all Otolaryngology procedures.Postoperative Follow-up: Physician rounds shall be conducted on postoperative ENT patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and on the wards.Provide consultative services at the patient's bedside and outpatient clinic.Follow all established medication policies and procedures.Provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all Otolaryngology clinical or surgical patients.Communicate test results to providers and patients in accordance with VHA Directive 1088.Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings with committee participation as required by the facility Chief of Service or designee.
