Highways & Skyways Transportation, a regional carrier based in Gastonia NC has an immediate opening available for an experienced owner operator. We are looking for a driver and truck within about 60 miles of Charlotte.
Open position is running 16 state region in Southeast and Midwest. Most common lanes out of Charlotte are Louisville, KY, Memphis TN, Tuscumbia, AL, Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa FL.
Highways & Skyways furnishes 53' dry van trailers. Loads are no touch, combination of live load/ and drop/hook loads.
You need to have a well maintained sleeper tractor that can pass DOT every 6 months.
Drivers/Trucks will be paid 76% of revenue. We pay every week.
Drivers must have at least 2 years tractor trailer experience.
Good/steady work history.
No More than 2 Violations in last 3 years.
No DOT reportable accidents or major violations in last 3 years
No Failed or refused drug test for last 10 years
No DUI or felony for last 10 years
Owner operators only, no Fleet owners.
