Our opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Fabricator/TIG Welder for our Denver, NC location
Job Summary:
Responsible for complex types of weld preparation and welding operations
Responsibilities:
● Set up and regulate M.I.G and T.I.G. welding equipment for current/voltage to appropriate weld pieces to customer drawings and specifications
● Able to M.I.G. and T.I.G. weld stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum materials
● A strong understanding of fit-up, clamping, fixturing, or holding parts in relative position to avoid distortion and shrinkage
● Sand/grind corners and edges for proper fit-up
● Maintain proper weld penetration, quality of fit and overall dimension of parts and make adjustments to correct irregularities, deviations, and shrinkage
● Perform required maintenance on welding equipment
● Demonstrates strong verbal communication skills
● Must provide his/her own hand tools and welding hood
● Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
● Perform other related duties as assigned
Equipment: Use tape measure, squares, clamps, forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, vertical and horizontal band saws, cut-off tools, welding equipment, belt sanders, 4.5” and 8” hand grinders and any other hand tools required for fabricating.
Educational and Physical Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, 5 years production/job shop experience. Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day and lift a minimum of 30 lbs.

● 40 Hour Work Week Monday-Friday
● Weekend Overtime Available at 1.5x base rate
Experience:
● Minimum 5 years Tig Welding Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Aluminum (Preferred)
● Minimum 5 years MIG Welding Stainless Steel , Mild Steel, Aluminum (Preferred)
● Minimum 5 years experience in fabrication (Preferred)

Salary: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00+ per year + Health Benefits
