Job Summary:
PJA, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced On-Site Supervisor to oversee the successful completion of the Bevolution Project phases at various QuikTrip locations. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure all work outlined in the QuikTrip phasing plan is completed meticulously within a strict 7-day period for each assigned location. The Site Supervisor will be the primary on-site representative for PJA, Inc., coordinating closely with PJA, Inc. leadership and QuikTrip ownership to ensure seamless project execution and immediate issue resolution.
Responsibilities:
On-Site Project Management: Be physically present at the assigned QuikTrip location(s) for the duration of the 7-day project phase.
Phasing Plan Execution: Rigorously oversee and ensure the timely and accurate completion of all tasks and work outlined in the specific QuikTrip phasing plan for the assigned location.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work meets PJA, Inc. quality standards and QuikTrip specifications. Identify and address any deficiencies promptly.
Schedule Adherence: Monitor project progress daily against the established 7-day schedule, proactively identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions.
Resource Coordination: Coordinate and manage on-site resources, including subcontractors, vendors, and materials, to ensure efficient workflow.
Communication & Reporting:
o Provide daily detailed progress reports to PJA, Inc. leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps.
o Maintain open and effective communication with QuikTrip on-site personnel and ownership, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
o Facilitate efficient information flow between all project stakeholders.
Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for on-site issues, resolving problems quickly and effectively to prevent project delays. Escalate complex issues to PJA, Inc. leadership as needed.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all on-site activities adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and QuikTrip's operational guidelines.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs, progress photos, and issue tracking.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (3+ years) in a site supervisory, field superintendent, or similar on-site project management role, preferably within retail, construction, or facilities management.
Demonstrated ability to manage and complete projects within aggressive timelines (experience with 7-day cycles is a strong plus).
Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff, ownership, and contractors.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, smartsheet, or similar) is a plus.
Must be willing to travel and be on-site at various QuikTrip locations for the duration of each 7-day project cycle.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project plans.
OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
