Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and HVAC Technician to join our team, specializing in both commercial and residential HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Work Schedule:
There is no fixed work schedule. Schedule is arranged in consultation with the technician on a weekly basis however we expect technician to be available for work at least 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
1. Install new HVAC systems in both commercial and residential settings, including furnaces, air conditioning units, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems.
2. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
3. Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions, including mechanical and electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and develop effective solutions to resolve them.
5. Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential problems and recommend preventive measures.
6. Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete installations and repairs within specified timelines.
7. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and service reports.
8. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, including proper handling of hazardous materials and equipment.
9. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining repair procedures, and offering recommendations for system upgrades or replacements.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulations related to HVAC systems.
