We are a large landscaping company that has many heavy duty machines to get our work done efficiently. As you can imagine, our work is impacted greatly when these machines are not working as they should. We are looking for a mechanic that is experienced working on skid steers, trailers, and dump trucks as well as maintenance on some of our crew cab trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and make complex repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime.
Repair dump trucks, flat beds, and tractor trailers
Perform routine vehicle maintenance
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license required
Some trade school or equivalent training desired
5 +years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment
Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills
Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands: The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Shift: Monday to Friday
Shop Hours: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm with 1 hour lunch

This is a company based solely on new installs: sod installation, tree/shrub installation, irrigation, and grading. We do installs from small townhome communities to large entryways and common open spaces.
