Currently in need of general Fleet Mechanic for our Charlotte, NC Shop.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to establish maintenance schedules and implement a comprehensive maintenance program.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks on trucks, heavy equipment, and small engines to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
Perform thorough inspections to identify any potential issues and address them proactively to prevent breakdowns and costly repairs.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems, and provide timely and effective solutions.
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including service schedules, performed tasks, and parts used.
Assist in maintaining a well-organized and properly equipped maintenance facility to support efficient operations.
Support field personnel by addressing equipment-related concerns promptly and providing technical assistance as needed.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in fleet maintenance and small engine repair.
