The Construction and Warranty Assistant Coordinator plays an important part in making sure that the construction process is running smoothly and efficiently. This includes an active role in picking up materials from vendors and delivering to/from job sites, removing debris and demo hauls from jobsites and emptying trailer at dump. Excellence in communication is needed as well as an ability to take detailed notes throughout the day on information relayed by clients, crews, subcontractors, and other vendors to ensure effective communication between all parties. Attention to detail is key with every jobsite visit and noting areas of concern to provide up-to-date information directly to Project Manager.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

The ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Have minimum of 5 years of solid residential construction experience.

Have reliable transportation to/from office.

Moving items from place to place, according to direction from the Project Manager.

Assist Project Manager and Office Personnel with close-out process on warranty related work orders.

Manage time on job sites efficiently.

Drive company vehicle safely and responsibly to and from job sites and supply houses.

Clean up job sites after completion. Take pictures/notes on any touch up work needed to close out project.

Manage schedule for work orders as they arise. This includes scheduling site visits with previous clients, assessing/troubleshooting the solution, identifying and ordering parts and then scheduling time to return for completion in a timely manner.

Other duties as assigned by Project Manager.

Please Note: the position requires the ability to lift heavy objects and/or up to 50 lbs., walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively lifts and carries heavy loads. The employee must have excellent stamina.

Customer service professionalism and positive attitude is a must.

Applicant MUST have clean driving record, drug screening and background check.

Compensation:

Starting - 40-45K annual salary.
