We’re seeking an experienced medium-class mechanic with 3-4 years of experience in diagnosing and fixing heavy-duty class 8 trucks. R&I Truck Repair has been in business for over 20 years, we are just minutes off I77, Exit 65.
Applicants must have:
- 4 years of previous experience as a technician or mechanic in a class 8 truck;
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical schematics;
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems;
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems;
- Must have basic own tools, special tools provided by the employer;
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy equipment and perform manual tasks;
- Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience;
- CDL a plus(optional).
