Warehouse Manager for eCommerce Business

Company Overview: Our company recently transitioned from a home-based operation to an office space in Concord, NC (near the speedway). We currently sell on Amazon, Walmart, and eBay and are in the process of building two new websites. We primarily sell cosmetics and health and personal care items and are actively working to expand the product categories we sell in. Our company has been in business since 2018, and we plan to expand rapidly over the next 12 months.

Job Location: Less than one mile from the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Job Description:

Oversee the setup and organization of a new warehouse space.

Implement and manage a new inventory management system

Train and mentor staff, including those new to warehouse operations, emphasizing the development of robust warehousing skills and the understanding of efficient process flows.

Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Ensure efficient space utilization within the warehouse.

Develop processes to optimize inventory control and streamline operations.

Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure fulfillment accuracy and efficiency.

Monitor and maintain health, safety, and security standards within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and organize the warehouse for optimal efficiency.

Lead the integration of the Jazva inventory system.

Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand without overstocking.

Train and supervise warehouse staff.

Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and transport companies.

Prepare and submit regular inventory and performance reports.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.

Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.

Experience with warehouse management software.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Education: We believe real-world experience exceeds the necessity for a degree.

Skills:

Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for warehouse work.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Must be able to lift boxes that weigh 50 lbs on a consistent basis.

The ability to come up with solutions "on the fly" and give detailed instructions on how to accomplish them.

Attention to detail, as the marketplaces that we sell on constantly track and evaluate our performance.

Work Hours and Benefits: 9:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday. Some Saturdays will be required between November 30, 2024 - December 21, 2024. Please note that the Friday after Thanksgiving will be a normal work day, as this is our busiest day of the year. We offer Health Insurance after 60 days of full-time work. Additional job benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
