$19 / hour

In addition, this position is eligible for $10 a month paid for monthly cellular phone allowance

Hours: Typically Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm

BASIC FUNCTION

This position has a wide range of responsibilities across the warehouse & field operations. Areas of responsibility include the assembly & refurbishment of manual mobility equipment & parts, checks on incoming materials, storing and distributing materials within the warehouse, and preparing/pulling orders. Order fulfilment from packing orders, checking finished products to ensure customer specifications and quality requirements are met, final prep and staging, and preparing the shipment paperwork and computer transactions for the orders. An individual in this position will also be cross trained to assist with preventive maintenance and repairs in the field as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Unloading trucks and checking in inventory to confirm material received is aligned with purchase order(s).

Operating basic hand tools to assemble & refurbish manual mobility equipment & parts.

Installation of new or replacement equipment for customers as needed

Managing positive customer relations.

Document inspection and audit results and complete nonconformance reports and logs.

Work with other functions across the organization to troubleshoot root causes, solve problems and improve processes to reduce non-conformances, rework, scrap, and eliminate waste; implement corrective and preventative actions to avoid recurrence of issues.

Keep measurement equipment and material handling equipment operating by following operating instructions; have repaired as needed.

Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

Track, monitor, and verify inventory levels - correct problems as they are discovered so that inventory location and quantity accuracy is maintained to ensure smooth flow of materials/goods.

Picking, verifying, and delivering parts in a timely matter.

Proper packing, accurate picking, labeling, and tagging of the inventory in the warehouse.

Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness and safety at all times.

Create efficient service schedules for field locations; ensuring locations are promptly serviced.

Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse and manufacturing setting.

Basic understanding and working knowledge of common hand tools.

Excellent communication and customer service skills required.

A knowledge of manual wheelchairs is preferred.

SKILLS

General knowledge in using key Microsoft Office programs.

ERP experience is preferred.

Experience in using an assortment of shipping software programs.

Basic math skills.

Mechanical aptitude is required.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

Valid Driver's License required

Must be able to pass background check for badging purposes

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS

Lift 70lbs.

Stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull
