As a hotel front desk agent, your primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and addressing inquiries, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Guest Service:
Greet guests warmly and professionally.
Check guests in and out, ensuring accurate registration and billing.
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and efficiently.
Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Resolve customer complaints calmly and effectively.
Reservation Management:
Manage online, phone, and in-person room reservations.
Confirm and update reservations.
Process cancellations and changes to reservations.
Administrative Tasks:
Answer and forward phone calls.
Process payments for room charges and other fees.
Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Other Duties:
Manage and organize laundry for guest/housekeeping
Communicate with other hotel departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance).
