Reports To: Facilities Supervisor
Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaner & Floor Technician to join our team. This part-time position involves evening and overnight shifts responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facility's floors and various areas, including offices, bathrooms, locker rooms, and gym.15
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Friday & Saturday: 7:00 PM – 10:00 AM
Sunday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Floor Care:
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the facility.
Operate floor scrubbing and buffing machines to maintain hard floor surfaces.
Strip, wax, and seal floors as needed (training provided if necessary).
General Cleaning:
Clean and disinfect restrooms, locker rooms, and showers.
Empty trash and recycling bins.
Dust and wipe down surfaces in offices and common areas.
Replenish restroom supplies.
Clean gym equipment and mirrors.
Other Duties:
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Assist with other cleaning tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in cleaning and floor care, preferably in a commercial setting.
Skills: Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals. Ability to operate floor scrubbers and buffers is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and bend/kneel as needed.
Availability: Must be available to work the specified evening and overnight shifts, including weekends.
