The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of the properties managed by the company. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to maintenance requests, and addressing emergency maintenance issues. The Maintenance Worker will also be responsible for maintaining and cleaning the grounds, common areas, and equipment of the properties.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, cleaning and general repairs.
Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Address emergency maintenance issues such as leaks, power outages, and security issues.
Maintaining and cleaning the grounds, common areas, and equipment of the properties.
Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed, including a log of all maintenance requests.
Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team and property management staff to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all maintenance and property management policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field.
Ability to perform physical labor and operate basic hand and power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
