AAA Pet Services is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, NC. Our goal is customer satisfaction and we are looking for someone who has a passion for animals. Our ideal candidate should be able to work compassionately with clients and their pets. Prior veterinary experience is desired. Job duties include working closely with the veterinarian to perform duties. These duties are working with clients and pets by obtaining medical histories, safely restraining pets, set up for examinations, clean up after each client & veterinarian & at end of day, blood draws and catheters are a plus, Client education, assisting with surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, answering phone, helping with the front desk, checking clients in and out, etc
This is a part time position. Clinic is opened Monday, Wednesday & Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm with possible other hours during week if it works with the schedule of potential employee.
