Pull inventory as specified on picking list for order(s).
Package orders to ensure that packaging meets customer requirements and ensure that shipments are packaged in such a way to prevent damage while in transit.
Ensure that all labels and documentation are attached as required by work instructions.
Complete Bill of Ladings with correct package and weight information.
Contact Freight Carriers for pick up.
Receipt of Incoming shipment
Verify shipment for damage upon receipt.
Break containers down as specified in work instructions.
Record shipment details and tag accordingly.
Route parts to applicable staging area for inspections/stock.
Load and Unload Freight Carriers and Small Package Carriers.
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and packaging.
Assist with inventory management to include cycle counts, physical inventory, etc.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of warehouse and equipment to ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Improve the flow of product through the warehouse and work-cells.
Build a continuous improvement culture that constantly strives to eliminate waste and increase our value to customers.
Focus on eliminating these 8 forms of waste: producing scrap, having to do re-work, over-producing, excess movement, wasting operator time, unnecessary steps in the process, excessive inventory.
