Description Robert Half is looking for a VP of Finance to join a well-respected company. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as part of the management team. Are you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company? Then this may be the role for you.Your responsibilities

Own financial planning and budget management functions

Propose benchmarks for analyzing financial and operating performance

Collaborate with department managers to develop five-year business plans

Oversee insurance and risk management

Compare monthly operating results against budget

Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions

Supervise all operations of the finance and accounting department

Ensure adherence to budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal

Manage the composition of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

Implement and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives

Hire and train employees, especially finance staff, and manage retention

Direct all financial reporting preparation

Maintains and reviews budgeting and forecasting models

Requirements - Very detail oriented and expert analytical thinking skills

10+ years of finance and accounting experience

MBA or CPA is preferred

Expert understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

Experience with multiple financial and accounting reporting systems

Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
