Senior iOS Developer - 100% Remote
Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Senior iOS Developer to work remotely on a 12-month contract. Our client is one of the largest electric power companies in the nation and supports approximately 7.4 million customers across six states. The Senior iOS Developer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing iOS applications as part of a durable product team.This position is a contract consulting opportunity, offering a comprehensive benefits package for w-2's, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, plus 401(k) with matching, weekly payment, and more. This position is available for w-2.Responsibilities: • Researches, evaluates, and implements new technology to optimize application efficiency and usability. • Designs new functionality based on product backlog priorities and coordinates development efforts in collaboration with durable product team and cross-functional organizations • Maintains records to document system and programming development and revisions. • Leverages CICD automation and best practices to deliver quality solutions to our end users • Applies iterative development to continuously deliver value through frequent deployments • Ensures adherence to appropriate design, coding, and cybersecurity standards. • Participates in design and code walk-thru as necessary. • Pairs with Software Engineers developing the Android front end application to ensure collaborative solutions across iOS and Android • Engages with the backend Facade application team, to cycle login box activities • Participates in Production Support team rotationRequirements: • iOS development with mobile applications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Preferred Skills: • Advanced skills in XCode, Oracle, SQL Server, Git, Bitbucket, Java and Swift development • Full stack development experience including java cloud native APIs • Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platformsPlease be advised- If anyone reaches out to you about an open position connected with Eliassen Group, please confirm that they have an Eliassen.com email address and never provide personal or financial information to anyone who is not clearly associated with Eliassen Group.
