About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant in Shared Services Operations Operational Excellence team. This vital role will be responsible to expanding and communicating business strategy, portfolios, and capabilities to meet our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have robust experience of consulting, communications and banking operations, leading complex cross-LOB initiatives. In your role, you will enable a team of solution and capability leads in initiatives that contribute towards defining the overall strategy of the firm and lines of business, develop execution roadmap and governance to help businesses execute on Wells Fargo's top strategic priorities. In the role, we are looking for a talented, self-driven, and ambitious candidate who can be successful in a highly matrixed organization to help us accomplish Wells Fargo's strategic goals through a collaborative team.In this role, you will:

Combine data insight and business overlay to identify initiative scope and potential opportunities.

Work with Accountable Business Executive and/or 1-Down to define the Initiative charter & roadmap.

Include Short Term, Mid-Term, and Long-Term Initiative Strategy. Strategy should include clear objectives, goals, & action plan.

Identify any quick wins and tactical improvement opportunities (IA, AI, Workflow, API etc.) and help build backlog of opportunities.

Partner with business leadership to prioritize areas for re-engineering, tactical automation and/or strategic platform enhancements.

Engage Engineering, Automation, Technology resources to support initiative and opportunity backlog.

Quantify and prioritize opportunities for solution design.

Connect the dots b/w engineering work, automation work and product/ technology investment and roadmap to avoid overlaps and promote solution re-usability.

Facilitate cross solution team conversations to resolve scope, resource and solution design conflicts & drive integrated design review sessions as needed.

Track and report progress, open risks, issues, and decisions needed to accountable business executive and other stakeholders.

Track and report on overall solution roadmap and track opportunities, solutions, ownership, and implementation date.

Hold tollgate report outs for process and automation teams to present assessment results, solution design reviews and deployed product demos.

Work with Control and Finance partners to realize the benefits in the books (Control/RAU rating, saves etc.)

Perform any required program management activities, as needed (e.g. RAID log, Schedule Management, Implementation Plans etc.)

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

7+ years of strategy consulting experience

7+ years of financial services industry experience

5 + years of project management experience

Strategic, "outside the box" thinking and the ability to ramp up on unfamiliar topics quickly and effectively.

Experienced and trusted advisor to LOB stakeholders able to contribute independent perspective and anticipate their needs.

Experience independently leading projects against tight deadlines and through ambiguity and change.

Experience developing detailed project plans with clear deliverables and timeline based on a work breakdown structure and project objective.

Ability to effectively lead, partner with and successfully influence senior executives and other stakeholders at all levels across the matrix organization.

Experience being a subject-matter expert within Global Operations and its products.

Outstanding critical thinking skills, qualitative and quantitative data analysis experience and high attention to details

Ability to lead through ambiguity, define and deconstruct problems, connect the dots, and anticipate end-to-end project needs.

Experience driving and understanding the bigger picture and broader interconnectivity and impact to the line of business and enterprises.

Experience at developing an approach and assessing our current business' real time competitive advantage leveraging the internal and external data and business intelligence to formulate the desired outcome.

Ability to Innovative in the way to structure and manage intensive and competing priorities but can be focused and dedicated to contributing towards the desired outcomes.

Ability to develop a cohesive, data-based strategic recommendation through strong executive-level written and oral presentation.

Experience in owning quality and accuracy of final deliverable.

Mentor, guide and support junior colleagues within the project team and broader Enterprise Strategy Consulting team and act as a role model.

Experience with premier strategy consulting firm or an internal strategy consulting/corporate strategy within financial services, FinTech or Big Tech

Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
