Reports to the District Manager
$300M in Sales for Residential Builder customers, 61 Branches/locations across North and South Carolina with direct oversight of a team of 4 associates.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the District’s long-term Residential Builder business planning
Responsible for market growth (sales and margins) for Residential Builder customer base
Support national strategy and implementation of execution plans
Balance competing demands for district and corporate initiatives
Support strategic direction of the organization including overall sales and margin objectives as well as implementing the intended supporting product strategy
Develops and partners with key vendors and suppliers to ensure coordination and outstanding service levels
Lead associates, implement processes and policies in order to profitably maintain and grow market share, sustain customer loyalty, and provide opportunities for growth
Develop and implement initiatives to improve market share within diverse business markets
Lead all aspects of District and Area sales managers and their teams
Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs
Review operational records and reports to project sales and profitability
Qualifications:
15+ years of experience (with 10+ years of sales management and 5+ years of Residential Builder experience is preferred)
Previous experience of sales leadership, creating, and implementing a sales strategy
Ability to build and drive business plans
Successfully demonstrates leadership and interpersonal skills, and able to lead regular and effective meetings with team
Ability to handle competing demands
Ability to make timely decisions, show good judgment
