Aplica ya

A Snapshot of Your DayThe 2 nd shift (Mon. – Fri., 4pm – Midnight) rotor balancer sets up and operates balance facilities for balancing and testing large generator rotors, exciter rotors, large & industrial steam turbine rotors, and large gas turbine rotors. At the start of shift, you meet with your team and supervisor to talk about safety, job assignments, and shift goals. Fifteen minutes later you are at your assigned balance facility and continue where 1 st shift left off, setting up a large generator rotor for balance. You finish assembling the oil seals on the bearing pedestals and start setting up the vibration probes. By end of shift you have moved the rotor into the balance facility and have connected the drive shaft and oil lines. You’ve performed all the required safety and quality checks and filled out the electronic quality control documents. The setup operations are complete and the rotor is ready to start balancing operations. Before end of shift, you leave shop notes in the electronic production system for the 3 rd shift team. How You’ll Make an Impact
