Job Title: Remote Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Pharmacy Technician in the Appeals department, you will work primarily with Medicare and Medicaid patients, focusing on denied Prior Authorizations. You will review provided information, reach out for additional details if necessary, and forward cases to Pharmacists for final determination. You will engage with elderly Medicare members, who may be frustrated due to denied medication, mostly injectable treatments administered at doctor's offices. Expect to make approximately 60-80 outbound calls per shift.Responsibilities

Forward cases to Pharmacists for final determination.
Make approximately 60-80 outbound calls per shift to Medicare/elderly members.
Handle conversations with frustrated members and provide excellent customer service.
Ensure accurate data entry and management of claims and denials.
Essential Skills
Pharmacy technician certification (Cpht)
Experience in data entry, managed care, claims, and denials
Strong customer service skills
Proficiency with computer skills
Ability to work remotely and independently
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to control and redirect conversations over the phone
Comfortable working weekends and holidays
Work EnvironmentThis position is 100% remote, requiring a closed-door setting with limited distractions and HIPAA compliance. Strong WiFi is necessary. Training lasts 4-6 weeks, Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM EST. You must be comfortable working weekends and holidays.
