Production Supervisor

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to work at one of our facilities. The Production supervisor reports to the Production Manager and exercises direct control over a Production department and coordinates with other Production Supervisors. As part of your role, you will be responsible for:Directing, coordinating and planning the activities of a specific production department under master production schedule and the hourly work force (including machine operators, i.e., milling, mixing, canning equipment, etc.) involved in the manufacture of productServing as lead person for a group of hourly employees utilizing established methods, normally to a maximum of 15 employeesCommunicating procedures to all subordinates, assuring they are understood and implemented when applicableInterpreting statistical reports, cycle time specifications and job orders to workers, and assigns dutiesUtilizing Production Management System, SAP, and/or warehouse management system.Leading continuous improvement projects, individually and team-based.Any other job duties as assigned by the Production Manager
