Job Description:

This Technical Product Owner function will reside in the area of client information and data for Merrill/Wealth Management.

Required Skills

  • 7-12 years in IT; 5-7 years in a business/systems analysis role, solutions architect role or product owner role
  • Skillful in gathering and analyzing requirements impacting data-intensive applications/systems, and building solutions for fulfilling those requirements
  • Critical thinker with superior written and oral communication skills as well as meeting facilitation skills
  • Be able to write database queries and navigate database schemas in order to support analysis effort
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Experience in developing process flows
  • Knowledge on the API Development, Integration on a Large Solution
  • Responsible for reviewing / approving technology designs
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes/actions and own product documentation

Preferred Skills

  • Core Java
  • Strong decision making skills with an assertive and proactive communication style
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills
  • Prior experience with processes impacting client data and/or account data, preferably AML (Anti Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Client) processes
  • Demonstrate knowledge, with prior experience, of two or more of the following functional areas in a data domain: Identity matching and data survivorship and/or Risk identification and mitigation
