We are seeking a skilled and experienced Headshot Photographer to join our team on a freelance or contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a knack for capturing genuine expressions, and the ability to create visually compelling images that stand out.Responsibilities:
Conduct photo sessions for clients requiring professional headshots, ensuring a comfortable and relaxed environment conducive to capturing authentic expressions.
Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences and goals for the shoot, offering guidance on poses, wardrobe, and styling as needed.
Utilize lighting, composition, and framing techniques to create visually appealing and flattering portraits that highlight the individual's personality and professional image.
Demonstrate proficiency in both indoor studio settings and outdoor locations, adapting photography techniques accordingly to achieve optimal results.
Edit and retouch photos using industry-standard software to enhance image quality, ensuring consistency with client expectations and company standards.
Manage post-production workflow efficiently, delivering final images to clients in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of photography trends, techniques, and equipment to continually enhance skills and stay competitive in the industry.
Collaborate effectively with other team members, including makeup artists, stylists, and assistants, to ensure seamless execution of photo shoots.
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience as a professional photographer specializing in headshots, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in portrait photography.
Proficiency in using professional camera equipment, lighting setups, and accessories to achieve desired results.
Extensive knowledge of photography principles, including composition, lighting, and posing techniques.
Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Capture One, with the ability to retouch and enhance images effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and create a comfortable atmosphere during photo sessions.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work that exceeds client expectations.
Flexibility to work on location and adapt to different shooting environments and conditions.
Availability to work on a freelance or contract basis, with flexibility to accommodate varying client schedules and project timelines.
