Patrolling all campus parking areas by vehicle and on foot.
Checking vehicles for appropriate parking authorizations using authorized equipment including license plate recognition ( LPR ) system and handheld devices.
Assists in the deployment and retrieval of parking/traffic control devices such as Cones, Barricades, and Signs for Reserved Space Requests and Special Events.
Act as a campus ambassador, providing general campus information and directions to the campus community.
Minimum Experience / Education: Required Minimum Qualifications:Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of educationand experience.University Preferred Qualifications:Graduation from high school and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through three years of specialized office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Ability to complete tasks with limited supervision.
Experience working in a campus environment.
Experience with hand-held computer devices; two-way radios.
Experience with ticket writing.
Traffic Control Experience.
Possess strong computer skills.
Possess strong customer service skills.
Possess attention to detail
Ability to work under limited supervision.
Ability to communicate clearly and address customer complaints.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work weekends.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
