The New Product Management Specialist will develop and execute the product marketing plans and oversee research and analytics to support and contribute to the development of marketing strategies. Responsible for prioritizing projects and identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance Product Management performance. This role will be key to our Data Center vertical focus.This is a global onsite role based out of Charlotte, NC.Key Responsibilities
Collect and analyze industry and target market information to forecast the market size of liquid cooling products
Conduct competitive product and service analysis, and market research of product consumer behavior and professional audience to develop product requirements and specifications
Collect and track regional/geographical regulatory trends (related to but not limited to refrigerants, minimum efficiency, building codes, etc.)
Set key performance indicators, product and program targets
Lead voice of channel and voice of customer surveys and interviews
Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, work with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services
Identify, develop, and implement near-term and mid-term business strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies, services, follow-on products, and/or industries to ensure profitability and positioning in the market
Initiate and prioritize projects, track product/service development, and develop product/service launch plans to effectively manage a product or service category's life cycle and ensure profitability
Support pre-sale customer visits (at Carrier factories and field sites) i.e. meet with customers and provide technical presentations
Manage new product introduction action tracker
Responsible for new product training, communicating product and system strategies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of product management, product marketing, and/or application engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree
HVAC or other manufacturing industry experience i.e., commercial sales, product management, or application engineering
English verbal and written communication skills
Experience with marketing activities i.e., branding management, sales tools development, and promotional materials
Combination of technical skills, being a self-starter, business understanding, self-direction, and interpersonal/influencing skills to work across the Carrier organization and with customers
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making
Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers at various levels within an organization
Present and speak in front of a large variety of audiences
Ability to travel up to 25% in the USA and globally
