Hendrick Automotive GroupLocation: 6000 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, North Carolina 28212Summary: The Manager, Wellness Center is responsible for the design, development, and management of a corporate wellness center and related programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture to enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support team member performance. The role provides personal physical rehabilitation support to key executive team members and partners with insurers, healthcare providers, and vendors to introduce well-being awareness throughout the organization.Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide personal physical therapy assistance to key executive team members.

Design, develop, implement, and manage corporate wellness center.

Plan, implement, and facilitate activities and projects related to workplace wellness, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle programs including health awareness and educational campaigns; behavior change programs; immunizations; health fairs; and health screenings.

Oversee individual and group behavior change programs including health improvement programs, and one-on-one health coaching.

Organize wellness committees and provides guidance to wellness committee leaders to bring about productive meetings.

Communicate and interface with third-party wellness providers including medical professionals.

Design and implement wellness and work-life programs and policies to build a positive and appealing company culture that will enhance employee engagement, facilitate recruiting, and support productivity improvements.

Partner with insurers to support individuals' physical and mental health by designing personalized wellness plans that promote healthy behaviors and prevent disease.

Assess individuals' health status, advises on health improvement strategies, and coach individuals on setting and achieving health goals.

May work in conjunction with healthcare providers to ensure that wellness plans are aligned with overall medical plans of care.

Manage on-site fitness facilities.

Education/Experience:Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a health and wellness related field. At least five (5) years of experience in developing and evaluating employee health and wellness programs.Verbal and Writing Ability:Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees. Math Ability:Ability to calculate figures, perform benefit cost analysis, and compensation analysis including developing pay scales and analyzing relevant labor market data.Reasoning Ability:Ability to define problems, collect and interpret complex data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Certificates and Licenses:Valid Driver’s License and ability to participate in domestic and international travel.Environment/Physical DemandsDuties are performed primarily in an office environment with the potential for frequent travel.Competency:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
