About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Accountability Specialist to join the Commercial Banking Policy Office. The Commercial Banking Policy Office works facilitates policy management activity with multiple levels of leadership within Commercial Banking and acts as the single point of contact for Commercial Banking with the Enterprise Policy OfficeIn this role, you will:

Lead Policy Management Life Cycle activities as assigned, including but not limited to applicability assessments, reviews, implementations, exceptions, and violations

Lead the Commercial Banking policy applicability repository, ensuring that data is complete and up to date

Independently make decisions and resolve complex issues while leveraging solid understanding of the business's functional area or products, operations, and regulatory environment; facilitate decision-making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans; lead peers and key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

Assess design, and implement complex controls, protocols, and approaches with respect to risk mitigation and the control environment

Provide key subject matter expertise to Commercial Banking partners and leadership regarding aspects of the program in which you are assigned

Liaise with Compliance, Legal, Enterprise Policy Office and others as needed to maintain awareness of current activities, influence changes impacting the front line and ensure the program remains in alignment with Policy requirements

Produce regular reporting on policy management activity

Maintain procedure documentation

May serve as a mentor for lower-level staff

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Commercial banking experience

Risk management experience

Knowledge and understanding of document taxonomy hierarchy, structure, and multiple administration processes across the enterprise

Knowledge and understanding of banking: regulations, compliance, policies, process, and procedures

Policy and strategy development experience

Experience in policy implementation

Knowledge and understanding of issues or change management processes

Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: process improvements, continuous improvement, or LEAN

Ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes
