The duties of this internship will range across the spectrum of supporting and implementing complex solutions around business need. This description is intended for the opportunity on the cybersecurity team.Xylem Summer Internships typically last 10-12 weeks and are an opportunity to get hands-on, professional experience while making a lasting contribution to Xylem as an organization. Our internship program is intended to create a pipeline of talented undergraduate students who are interested in a career in the water innovation technology industry. Interns are our primary talent pool for all full-time early career positions and rotational programs. The Summer Internship is a great opportunity to learn more about Xylem and see if a career in water technology is right for you.Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

Shadow security analysts and assist as needed.

Hygiene activities within Cybersecurity technologies.

Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or reassign tickets in ServiceNow.

Perform firewall upgrades on low tier locations.

Investigate threats escalated from MSSP.

Participate in designing and deploying a phishing simulation for the organization.

Attend all relevant meetings, troubleshooting sessions, team meetings, etc.

Update and create relevant documentation.

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program in Information Systems, Information Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field. Must be in at least junior standing as of the Fall, 2023 semester.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Fundamental understanding of firewall technologies would be preferred.

The hourly rate for this internship is between $20.00 - $30.00 and is dependent on a variety of factors including major, year at school and geographic location. This internship is being offered remotely in the North America region.We Offer You More Than Just “A Job”
