Join us!This job is responsible for executing substantive money laundering, economic sanctions and fraud compliance and operational risk practices. Key responsibilities include working directly or through compliance officers for the Front Line Units (FLUs) and Control Functions (CFs) to complete compliance, policy, operational/fraud risk management requirements.This role assists Global Financial Crimes (GFC) executives and managers in activities that support the identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks in alignment with the Compliance and Operational Risk Management (CORM) Program, the Financial Crimes and Global Compliance — Enterprise Policies (GC Policy) and the Enterprise Fraud Risk Management Standards.This Global Financial Crimes Manager would assist in engaging other Global Compliance and Operational Risk (GCOR) officers, including horizontal coverage owners and Enterprise Areas of Coverage (EAC), to provide comprehensive oversight of the GFC Transactions Monitoring (TM) System. This role would be responsible for developing and maintaining a global TM system governance program which would allow for rapid response to regulators and internal control functions. Selected Candidate would be required to track and maintain an issues inventory to ensure timely delivery to key responses. In addition, they assist in the preparation of materials for GCOR regulatory exams, audits and inquiries and may assist with preparation for FLU/CF regulatory exams, audits, and inquiries.In this work with Automated Detection Governance, one will coordinate and review regulatory and The Audit responses, as well as capture and preform quality validations and timely delivery of governance materials – and Maintain the Automated Detection and Monitoring teams Single Process Inventory.The selected candidate will have: 7+ years in Governance Management/ Policy writing/ Single Process InventoryIssues Management – data issues, etc.; U.S. base routing point for regulatory inquiries 3+ years in Risk and Compliance functions 2+ years in Financial Crimes-Related functions Significant Executive Presentational Skills Significant Document Preparation Skills Strong Organizational Skills.Prefer background as Certified Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Specialist (CAMS), experience with AML Laws, Rules, and Regulations, and experience coordinating with regulatory agencies.Responsibilities:

Advises and directs the development and maintenance of financial crimes owned policies and standards, and reviews relevant Front Line Units/Control Functions-owned policies and standards to ensure that regulatory requirements and operational risks are appropriately addressed

Produces and/or oversees independent financial crimes risk management reporting to Global Compliance & Operational Risk (GC&OR) Senior Leaders and FLU/CF Senior Leaders

Monitors the changes in regulations applicable to Global Financial Crimes, including advising business leaders, directing the appropriate areas to implement or amend policies, standards, procedures and/or processes to address regulatory requirements, and challenging the implementation plan as needed

Participates in industry forums and monitors regulatory expectations, emerging legislation and regulation, political scrutiny, litigation and key influencers to identify and mitigate emerging risks

Escalates financial crimes related compliance and operational risks and issues to appropriate governance routines, management/board level committees

Identifies, aggregates, reports, escalates, inspects, and challenges the remediation and thematic analysis of FLU/CF-owned issues and control enhancements related to financial crimes

Reviews and challenges internal and external operational loss events, including the development of remediation plans to strengthen controls and providing oversight to ensure they are addressed appropriately

Develop and Maintain Global Financial Crimes Systems Governance Process to ensure proper adherence to both legal and company policy requirements.

Track and escalate identified issues identified by the team through multiple remediation pathways such as Audit Issues, Model Risk Management Issues, Data Issues, Technical Project Issues.

Develop and Maintain standard “off the shelf” presentations for internal and external examinations.
