Description Hybrid Director of Finance Opportunity. Experience with Government Contracting is required to be successful in this role.We are offering a key role within our manufacturing team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role centers around the job function of VP/Director of Finance, where you will be integral in overseeing all financial planning and analysis for the company, as well as managing financial aspects of our manufacturing operations.Responsibilities: Oversee the financial planning and analysis division, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the financial status of the company Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance the company's profitability Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making for the company Utilize skills in budgeting and forecasting to plan for the company's financial future Utilize Microsoft Excel for managing, interpreting and presenting financial data Collaborate with other company departments to ensure financial goals are integrated into company processes Ensure the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation Identify potential areas of financial improvement, cost reduction and systems enhancement Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and executives regarding the company's financial performance.Requirements Proven experience in a senior finance role within the manufacturing industry Demonstrated expertise in budgeting and forecasting Proficiency in financial analysis to aid strategic decision making Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting financial information to board members and other stakeholders High level of integrity and professional ethics Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (such as CPA or CFA) is preferred Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to strategize and implement financial policies for the organization's growth Familiarity with financial software and systems used in the manufacturing industry.
