We are looking for a Director, Customer Financial Services to join our growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that optimize cash flow, reduce risk, and support revenue growth within the telecommunications sector. In this leadership role, you will oversee billing operations, manage credit limits and payment terms, and ensure the effective handling of overdue accounts. You will drive financial performance by enhancing collection processes and collaborating cross-functionally to support the company’s business objectives.As Director, Customer Financial Services, your duties and responsibilities will include:Strategic Financial ManagementDevelop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s customer service goals and overall business objectivesOptimize cash flow through proactive credit management and effective collection strategiesReduce financial risk by assessing and mitigating credit exposuresBilling and Revenue ManagementOversee the end-to-end billing process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and complianceManage billing administration, including invoicing, credit approvals, collections, and financing agreementsImprove accounts receivable processes to enhance efficiency and reduce outstanding balancesCredit and Collections LeadershipLead and mentor the credit and collections team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvementProvide strategic oversight of credit risk assessments and payment enforcement actionsDesign and implement processes to enhance collection efforts and minimize bad debtFinancial Analysis and ReportingAnalyze financial performance metrics related to customer financial services and implement corrective actions to achieve targetsPrepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendationsUtilize data analytics to monitor customer behavior and financial trendsCompliance and Risk ManagementEnsure all financial operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and best practicesConduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate financial risksStay updated on changes in financial regulations affecting the telecommunications industryCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with IT, customer service, sales, and other departments to integrate financial processes and improve customer experiencesCollaborate with product development teams to design financially viable telecommunications products and servicesSupport strategic initiatives and business development projects with financial insights and expertiseProcess Improvement and InnovationImplement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the customer financial services departmentLeverage technology and automation to streamline financial processes and reduce operational costsFoster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation within the team
