They connect, create, and keep us on track towards changing the world’s energy systems.We’re looking for a passionate engineer with background in mechanical design to join the Large Gas Turbine Combustion Manufacturing team as manufacturing engineer for all combustion system developments. As the manufacturing engineer you would be intimately involved in development of manufacturing processes for the various parts of the combustion system. You would interact with the combustion design team and be a part of the integrated project team working on the design of new combustion systems. Additionally, required to work closely with colleagues in procurement and manufacturing production to ensure manufacture of the parts.How You’ll Make an Impact

Manufacturing design and manufacturing of the latest combustion hardware contributing to the decarbonization goals of Siemens Energy

Development of the latest manufacturing techniques conventional and additive and their application into serial production parts.

Communicate and work effectively with manufacturing and service engineering colleagues on process improvements and new product development and introduction

What You Bring

BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required

New graduates are encouraged to apply. Those with greater experience may be considered for a higher level

Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals in machine design and/or manufacturing

Ability to create complex drawings and specifications, including a solid understanding of GD&T

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Current SE employees with existing visa sponsorship may be eligible for visa transfer.

What You Preferably Bring

MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience in design of mechanical components.

Good presentation and collaboration skills.

Experience with Siemens NX CAD/CAM, Teamcenter & SAP
