Synechron is looking to onboard Data Governance Lead for one our banking clients in Charlotte, NC.

Required Skills (Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities to enter the job):
  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Governance preferably in Finance
  • Ability to lead and guide data quality, data sharing and Metadata program including Business Data Element Glossary and Data Lineage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Defines data management responsibilities and determines best strategy for data governance.
  • Guides data owners within departments in all initiatives and strategies associated with data management.
  • Develops, maintains, and enforces standard data governance policies for data collection, modification, and maintenance.
  • Works with data owners to resolve data issues and improve processes.
  • Monitors activity and data quality metrics to improve Accuracy, Consistency, Completeness, Integrity, and Timeliness.
  • Analyzes, identifies, and resolves data issues while adhering to data governance standards.
  • Identifies continuous improvement opportunities and recommends solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong work ethic supported by strong time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple commitments and responsibilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization
  • Technical expertise in data architecture principles and design aspects of various DBMS and reporting concepts.
  • Experience with data modeling and data architecture is a plus
