This role is primarily responsible for the planning and management of PAM controls across the enterprise (e.g., platforms, systems, applications) to ensure alignment with Identify Access Management (IAM) standards, regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures, and industry best practices.Working with across Lines of Business (LOB) with stakeholders, including senior leaders and executives, the Lead Compliance Strategists clearly defines.PAM security initiatives, vision and approach to meet security business needs, risks, exposures and remediation. Lead collaboration efforts with internal and external Information Technology (IT) service providers and business units in evaluating and gathering technical requirements for business clients’ information security initiatives.
Lead cross-functional teams and shape client expectations by driving initiatives and matching outcomes to expectations.
Provide leadership and direction to ensure program elements including risk assessments, application development, project management, and ongoing operations reflect Computer Information Systems (CIS) requirements.
Act as a thought leader and trusted partner enabling business units to more aggressively leverage its capabilities to drive business value and strengthen its role in upholding Truist's competitive advantage.
Drive initiatives that improve communication and documentation of potential solutions, impact analysis, benefits/risks, implementation requirements, and recommended approach.
Advise and consult on options, improvements, cost savings opportunities and cross-project impact to other business processes and systems priorities.
Remain aware of the corporate technology, infrastructure, policies, standards, processes, and strategic direction and use these tools to help guide the client in accomplishing their business goals.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, technology-related field or equivalent education and related training
Five or more years of demonstrated progressive experience in Cybersecurity, with emphasis on communication, standards, compliance, frameworks, data loss prevention, vulnerability management, access management, firewalls, security awareness training, etc.
Understanding of risk management function and principles. Knowledge of auditing requirements and requests, including the production and validation of evidence and implementation of interim mitigations; corrective and preventive actions and measures.
Excellent ability to express complex multi-disciplinary technical and business concepts in terms that are understandable to all Line of Business (LOB) levels and corporate management both verbally and in writing
Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity terms, concepts, disciplines, frameworks, best practices and industry/regulatory requirements with heightened focus on Identity (IdM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
Ability to work Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree, Law degree (MLS, JD, etc.), MBA, technology or other related area. Previous experience in the banking industry
Experience conducting, preparing and presenting analysis, findings and recommendations
Cyber security certifications such a CISA, CISSP
Experience in change management, project management, and/or business process methodologies a plus
Understanding of industry best practices, standards, frameworks, and compliance requirements
Experience participating in IT projects
