OneMain Financial has launched a new Credit Cards business based in Charlotte, NC. The Cards business operates like a startup with the full backing of OneMain Financial. The Cards team is small and growing fast, having just launched its first MVP and quickly iterating to create a multi-product portfolio.
We are hiring an experienced Product Lead who will be responsible for delivering features and functionality to enable a high volume, scalable acquisition engine that supports both open market and cross-sell to existing OneMain customers. This person will oversee the performance of a dynamic Agile product team and partner closely with Engineering, Marketing, Data Science, and Design to define requirements and manage on-time delivery.We are a remote-first company, although this role is preferably Charlotte-based to enable close partnership with development and analytics.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Drive continuous delivery of new functionality to enable scaled growth and a frictionless acquisition experience
- Develop user stories
- Work with different business operations team and different vendors to define the products and the roadmap
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize based on changing requirements
- Supervise and advise the scrum team to meet feature acceptance criteria
- Manage and own dependencies across teams and vendors
- Actively track and manage all aspects of product development including feasibility assessment, requirements grooming, process documentation, hypothesis validation, and testing
- 7+ years of product management experience
- Able to get things done quickly and effectively, while balancing business objectives and quality
- Data-driven
- Able to properly determine scope, key milestones, objectives, and dependencies of a project
- Technically proficient to communicate with and support engineers effectively
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in an agile environment
- Able to think critically and independently
- Passionate, nimble and curious
